Umang is a research scholar with a demonstrated experience of working in the field of analytical research. Skilled in patent law and practice, he has a keen interest in other forms of intellectual property as well. He is an engineer by qualification and is currently engaged in the field of science and technology policy studies. He has also worked on patent drafting and filing, as a research intern with Council of Scientific & Industrial Research (CSIR)– Innovation Protection Unit. His area of interest includes analysing innovation ecosystem in India and identifying sustainable framework for intellectual property rights policy in India.
