Odisha ready for rasagolla queries

Bhubaneswar: The Odisha government is hopeful of getting geographical indication (GI) tag for “Odisha rasagolla”. The government, which has been asked by the GI authorities to clarify some 14 points raised by it, will shortly submit the clarifications. Odisha micro, small and medium enterprises minister Prafulla Samal said that the clarifications would be submitted by the first week of August.

Eminence is just a tag

Earlier this month, the Government of India informed us that six higher education institutions have been named Institutions of Eminence (IoE) by the Centre. Of these, five are known for their science and technology schools and one does not exist. They will be permitted to admit 30 per cent foreign students with no restrictions on the fees charged from them.

AICTE plans to spread awareness about patents among engineering students
